It’s been said that everybody knows how to ride a bike, but nobody really understands how we ride bikes. We all love a good mystery, and in this MSF Pop-up event we’ll try to solve this one. Learn about the physics of a bicycle from University of Maine Physics Professor John Thompson, Maine SRTS & Bike/Walk Safety Education Coordinator Erik daSilva from the Bicycle Coalition of Maine, a series of short bike films, and experience bicycle physics first hand via a bike stand.
The MSF has teamed up with Walk-n-Roll, Fork & Spoon, Maine Discovery Museum, Bangor Greendrinks, the Bicycle Coalition of Maine, Pat’s Bike Shop, Slipping Gears Cycling, Rose Bike, and Ski Rack Sports for this event taking place as part of National Bike Month.
Fork & Spoon will have food and beverages available for purchase. All ages are welcome!
